MowCompass is an independently operated product-research and recommendation website focused on helping people choose suitable robot lawn mowers.

Running MowCompass involves costs such as hosting, software, product-data infrastructure, development and research. One way the website may support those costs is through affiliate partnerships.

Our aim is for product fit to be determined by those criteria rather than by the amount of affiliate commission available for a particular product.

Unless a page specifically states that MowCompass has physically tested a particular product, you should not assume that the product has been personally tested by us.

We aim to distinguish factual product specifications from our own interpretation of how those specifications affect product suitability.

Because product specifications and software features can change, we recommend checking important compatibility, installation and technical requirements with the manufacturer before purchasing.

8. Sponsored content, free products and paid placements

Affiliate commission is different from a direct sponsorship or paid placement.

If MowCompass receives payment, a free product or another material benefit specifically in exchange for producing or prominently featuring content, we aim to disclose that relationship clearly where the relevant content appears.

MowCompass may in the future participate in one or more Amazon Associates programs where available.

If MowCompass becomes an Amazon Associate, the website will display the disclosure required by the applicable Amazon Associates agreement and qualifying Amazon links will be treated as affiliate links.

Until such participation is active, this section should not be interpreted as a statement that MowCompass is currently an approved Amazon Associate.
